Beyond

Design

Creative isn’t a title. It’s how I move through life.

Hey, I’m Andrew

a UI/UX designer based in New York, with a background in video production and a mild obsession with good design in everything — not just interfaces, but how things feel to use.

How I Got Here

I didn’t start in design — my roots are in video and storytelling. But over time, I got obsessed with how people actually use digital products — how they think, where they drop off, what slows them down. That curiosity pulled me into UX.

How I Work

I work closely with PMs and engineers in tools like Slack, Asana and Whimsical to keep decisions tight and execution smooth. Whether I’m building out design systems, documenting tokens, or prototyping interactions, my goal is always the same: design that’s grounded in behavior and ready for production.

How I Think About UX

Now I focus on solving product problems by simplifying flows, tightening up decision points, and designing interfaces that reflect how people actually behave — not just how we wish they would. I’ve worked on everything from B2B dashboards to content-heavy legal sites, and no matter the project, it always starts with understanding the user journey and what success looks like for the business.

Beyond the Pixels

When I’m not designing, I’m probably on a long run or hiking somewhere off-grid. I’ve tackled a few Spartan Races, and I’m into anything that pushes my limits — on the trail or at the desk. I also love getting lost in good music (yes, I have playlists for everything), especially while I’m designing and I have a soft spot for A24 movie productions. Their attention to detail and emotional storytelling? Big inspiration.
